Past donations (Supporter wall)

What is this feature?

The page at https://www.rachelhorncastle.com.au/supporter_wall shows all past donations made in your nation.

How does it work?

There are a few major points to note about this feature:

1. That page is a NationBuilder 'Leaderboard' page, connected to your 'Donors' leaderboard here

2. That page also has the tag "Admin Past Donors" (see here), which creates its custom format

3. You can update the text of the Past Donations page here

4. We've added a custom checkbox to your donate page called "Make my donations anonymous"

   1. That checkbox is connected to the custom field created here

   2. We've also created an auto-tagging filter in your nation here, which will apply the tag "Anonymous donor" to anyone who checks this box

5. Then their name will appear as "Anonymous Donor" on the Past Donations page

6. All donations over $1,000 are not anonymous, and will display the donor's name, regardless of whether the donor has checked the "Make my donations anonymous" checkbox on the Donate page

7. There is a 24-hour delay between a donation being made, and appearing on the Past Donations page.

   1. This is because the Auto-tagging filter created here only runs every 24 hours, and so we need to allow time for the person to be tagged with "Anonymous donor" if they've chosen that option, before dispalying their donation on the Past donations page

8. Important: Note that this page currently shows all donations made through any site in your nation (including donations to Cottesloe Independent).

   1. To change this, go here and set the "Only include activity from this page" field to "donate_to_rachel"

If the page is not showing some recent donations

In this case, try navigating to the settings of the leaderboard here, and clicking the 'Save leaderboard' button. This appears to prompt the leaderboard to refresh and show any recent donations.
